Did you know- From an economical perspective, Malaysia is one of the most industrialized countries on the continent of Asia. By the 1970s and 1980s, the economy was highly developed and Malaysia boasted one of the highest economic growth rates on the planet. By that time, it expanded its educational system very fast. Unlike Latin America, from Cuba, Peru and Venezuela to Bolivia and Argentina, the education, industry and minerals have transformed Malaysia into a middle-income country. Malaysia is one of Asia's richest places in minerals: tin, oil, gas, and iron, as well as copper, and bauxite. Tourism is growing rapidly since the mid-1990s. In fact, Malaysia is a perfect place for different types of tourism in Asia:ideal climate, isolated beaches, amazing islands,marine biodiversity, rich history, scenic landscapes, beautiful architecture, tropical biodiversity, and a modern capital city with luxury accommodations. Finally, Malaysia has three World Heritage Sites:

-Gunung Mulu National Park

-Kinabalu Park

-Melaka and George Town, Historic Cities of the Straits of Malacca

Independence

Did you know- Malaysia gained its independence from the United Kingdom in 1957. At the same time, it became a member of the Commonwealth of Nations.

Geography

Did you know-Malaysia is located in southeast Asia, between the Kingdom of Thailand and Indonesia. It has an area of 127300 square miles ( 330442 square kilometers). The nation is about the size of Austria (32,378 sq. mi.), Bulgaria (42,800 sq. mi.), Lithuania (25,200 sq. mi.), Slovakia (18,859 sq. mi.), and the Netherlands (16,033 sq. mi.) combined. There are mountains - covers about half of the country's entire territory-valleys, islands, and tropical rainforests. These jungles are filled with wild animals such as tigers, primates, orangutans and exotic birds. The major rivers include: the Sungai Pahang, the Rajang and the Kinabatangan. This land has about 23 million people. Kuala Lumpur is home to the country's capital. The English is the official language, but it has a large non-English speaking population.

Sports

Did you know- The most popular sports are: soccer, badminton, basketball, golf, field hockey, and swimming. On the other hand, the 1998 Commonwealth Games were held in Malaysia, an Asian country renowned for its sports facilities. Over 3,600 athletes from 70 countries and dependencies participated in the Commonwealth Games, including Wales, Isle of Man, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The national team won 63 medals ( 10 gold, 14 silver, and 12 bronze) and finished fourth in the medal count. The best athletes were: Wong Choong Hann (badminton), Sapok Biki (boxing), Thye Chee Kiot (gymnastics), Bibiana Ng Pei Chin (shooting), Lee Wan (badminton), Rosli Effandy (road bicycle racing), Matin Guntali (weightlifting) and Zainal Abidin Md Zain (shooting).

Human Development

Did you know- Malaysia has a good quality of life. In the mid-1990s, the Asian country was ranked 57th out of 174 nations and territories in the UN' s Human Development Index. Two years on, Malaysia had finished 60. Once upon a time, it was one of the poorest countries in Southeast Asia.

Malaysia & Miss Universe

Did you know- On July 14, 1962 Malaysia made its Miss Universe debut when Sarah Alhabshee Abdullah participated in Miami Beach, Florida, USA. From 1962 to 2009, the Asian nation has sent up to 44 delegates to Miss Universe. By 1970, the nation's contestant Josephine Lena Wang Jaw Leng was one of the 15 semi-finalists. In addition, Josephine was named among the 10 best in swimsuit, along with Kristina Hanazalova (Czechoslovakia), Debbie Shelton (USA), Jun Shimada (Japan) and other delegates. In the next decades, Michelle McLean, MU 1992, and Chelsy Smith, Miss USA and MU 1995, visited Kuala Lumpur, one of the most exciting metropolises in Asia.

what one has more gold USA eagle coin or a Canadian maple leaf?

i know one is gold eagle in 91.67 and a gold maple leaf is 99.99 but the eagle weight's more due to copper and silver added to the coin where the maple leaf does not the are both 1 oz of fine gold, is what they say on the coin.. do they both have the same gold in them just the eagle has more other medals for hardness vs the maple leaf or does the maple leaf have more gold being 99.99?????

i am soo lost here.. help

The Canadian coin has more gold. They both have a true total weight of 1oz. The mix in the US coin means there is less total gold in the Eagle.

can i melt copper and nickel and stamp my own coin?

I know that its not worth doing other than making my own coin, so I wanted to know if there is an easy way to melt down nickels and pennies (copper), and make my own coin? Can I use a blowtorch? What could I make the mold out of, clay? I don't want to make a foundry, is there another, cheaper way?

leave the melting copper to the experts, it,s very dangerous and you can get arsonic poisoning.

Looking for what i think is a very rare book?

my mom had a book a few years back. it was called "The Anti-gravity Formula" but I'm not sure who wrote it. it was an orange book, and had a cave painting type drawing on the cover. i know very little about it. sorry for the lack of info. if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!!
i have already tried all the book sites like barnes and nobels and ebay and such. it was published at least before 1995.

In the martial arts, two factors that influence the speed of a punch are the actual speed of the technique and the telegraphs, extra motions, that precede the punch. Can games help you to improve your punching speed? If so, which games and how?

Wax On, Wax Off

Do you remember in the old Karate Kid movies where the master has the student practice repetitive motions to train muscle memory? For example, Daniel has to apply wax to the car one way, and then polish it off another.

Unfortunately, the brain can't often make the connection to use those muscles in a martial-arts scenario. The muscles and the brain need "context."

It's the same with games to improve your punching speed. Sure, you might have to reach quickly to hit the rubber ball in Four Square, or you might have to reach to the side to slap a tethered ball, but these won't necessarily make you a better puncher.

Martial-Arts Games For Different Purposes

One way to make your games transfer to your punches is to isolate martial objective. In other words, practice some games to eliminate your telegraphing, and practice others to improve your punch speed.

For example coin snatching and coin switching wouldn't be very practical to help you speed your punches, if all you did was grab for a coin in someone's outstretched hand before the hand closed.

But if you use the demonstration (really an exercise) to practice eliminating telegraphing, then it's perfect.

Hot Hands by itself won't make you a faster martial artist. But if you could change the game -- slap hands held vertically in front of the body, you'd have a better game. This variation would approximate the path of a punch more accurately.

Martial-Arts Game Combinations

Later, it would be a good idea to combine the two exercises.

Maybe punch for a focus mitt. Your opponent tries to raise or drop the mitt before you can strike. He or she will pay attention to the telegraphs observed in the coin snatching exercise. And you will transfer your speed from Hot Hands to a punch at the target.

If you coordinate your game practice to your speed punching goals, you should be able to turn even the simplest game of tag into a worthwhile training activity.

Careful. No wasting time. Make sure the game is worth the effort.

As I told you before, it's pentameter. It's what's called "accentual verse" meaning that it's not perfect iambs, but there are five feet per line and a reasonably solid sense of accented/unaccented syllables in sequence.

It's not free verse. Far too regular to be called free verse.
